We strongly advise you to plan your journey to arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before your allocated time slot.
Please note: We aim to run to a strict schedule. However, we advise you to allow extra time just in case there are unavoidable delays to the advertised schedule.
The entrance to Santa's Spectacular will be lit and clearly marked with signs leading down the side of the building to the reception and registration area.
There will be a cloakroom and waiting area with self-serve hot and cold drinks, mince pies and light refreshments available during your visit.
Santa's Spectacular is an interactive experience which lasts around 1 hour. For the enjoyment of everyone, we reserve the right to refuse entry to guests who arrive late. We understand plans can go wrong. Please keep in touch and we will do our best to work with you to find a solution.
Wristbands will be issued to ticket holders who have purchased the gift option.
Each ticket holder will receive a candy cane on exit. Under 2s go FREE and will receive a small gift.

For the comfort and safety of all attendees, we kindly ask that only assistance dogs be brought to the event, service animals are welcome to accompany their owners to provide the necessary support.
There are designated disabled spaces in the market place located in front of Milners (near the Pelican Crossing) and Campbells in Commercial Square. General parking spaces are located closer to the venue. There are limited FREE parking spaces opposite the entrance to Santa's Spectacular at the Methodist Church Hall. This area operates on a first-come, first-served basis for all visitors to Leyburn. There is space to turn around to drop off and collect members of your group who may have mobility needs directly outside the venue. Please be mindful of other pedestrians and other road users in this area of the town.
Where to park...
There is FREE* parking (*payment by honesty box) in the Leyburn Market Place, Commercial Square, Grove Square and The Auction Mart (near the Zebra Crossing). There is a pay and display car park behind The Golden Lion, the postcode for the car park is: DL8 5AS. All are within easy walking distance of Santa's Spectacular at Leyburn Methodist Church Hall, DL8 5AT.

A1 from York/ Harrogate/ Leeds: Take Junction 51 of the A1 for Leeming Bar Services and the A6055/A684 Northallerton/Bedale exit. Follow signs towards Leyburn travelling West along the A684. The journey is c.10 miles taking you through the picturesque villages of Crakehall, Akebar, Constable Burton, Harmby and into Leyburn.
On your approach, you will pass The Garden Rooms and Tennants Auction House, Zebra Crossing and petrol station (on your left). You will come to a mini roundabout. If you look diagonally to your right you will be able see the entrance to Santa's Spectacular at the Methodist Church Hall (the building will be lit up!). Head straight over the mini roundabout. A66 from Barnard Castle. A1 from Darlington/ Durham/ Sunderland: Junction 52 Scotch Corner Services. The A6108 from Richmond/ Catterick via Bellerby. You will approach Leyburn Market Place via Richmond Road and pass The Wensleydale School, Auction Mart (on your left as you approach the Zebra Crossing) and Leyburn Arts and Community Centre (on your right). The A6108 from Masham offers an alternative route via Middleham. You will join the A684 at the petrol station (on your right).
Turn left into to Town and you will come to a mini roundabout. The M6 Lancaster: Junction 37. A684 at Sedbergh travelling east through Hawes to Aysgarth. B6265 from Skipton/ B6160 from Grassington pick up the A684. You will pass through the villages of West Witton and Wensley on your approach to Leyburn. At the mini roundabout, diagonally to the right of the war memorial and Christmas Tree, is the Golden Lion and One Stop Shop and Santa's Spectacular (we are hidden from view but you might just be able to spot the building lit up!). Public Transport
Bus services link Leyburn and Middleham with Hawes to the west, Bedale and Northallerton to the east, Leeds and Ripon to the south, and Darlington, Catterick and Richmond to the north. Darlington and Northallerton are the nearest mainline railway stations (c.40mins) They are on the East Coast line. The final part of the journey is by road.
